The inside of my dish washer acts as a faraday cage, so if I put the Zigbee leak senor inside of it, it will not connect to my hub anymore, also the alarm is muted. To help it I designed this simple remote senor head that goes inside the on the lowest point and the electronics can go outside the machine where it can talk to my Zigbee hub.

Inside, I have put a massive metal washer to add some extra weight so it wont go boating around in case of a flood. Just put a pause after the right layer in your slicer to insert the washer.

I have added the fusion 360 files if you need to modify it to fit your screws, washer, or simply if you want to improve or change it.

Have Fun! Cheers! Roland.
