Use these plates to reverse the top and bottom grid positions on CheeseMix accessories. With each layer of CheeseMix plate, the top and bottom grid hole positions switch places. If you mount a plate to your camera using the 1/4-20 hole centered on your camera, you will no longer have a mounting point aligned with your cameras centerline. A grid switch recovers that allied centerline hole by mounting to the surrounding holes.
A "CheeseMix Plate (Blank Corner)" 3x3 or 3x2 can achieve the same grid switch function. The "Grid Switch Plate" is a little more refined and less bulky.
