Transformers Mirage's Parachute

Hailing from the the last episode in the three-part pilot - here's Mirage's parachute!

And here's Mirage with his chute; the cords used here are actually 2mm single core paracords.

We've also done up a hanger piece which clips onto the top of the chute, allowing that entire setup to be hung up for an airborne look.

The hanger piece was then tied using nylon line to a magnetic mount, seeing as to how we were able to magnetically attach it to our metal shelve. You might need another approach for your own display shelves.

Makes for a fun display with Mirage hanging gracefully off the bottom of the parachute, by looping the paracords around his armpits.

More accurate to the episode, you could also loop the cords through and around Mirage's hands - putting control of the chute in his hands literally.

The included diagram shows the parts of this build.

The side anchors of the parachute are glued onto the main chute body, using short segments of 1.75mm filament to position it accurately.

We've (fittingly) used looped lengths of 2mm paracord and tied up around the anchor pieces.
