This is a gearbox. I designed it as a training module before a larger project.
Get one of the cover plates, put one of the shafts in one way, and then get the other one, flip it a 180° and put it in the othe hole. The put the gears on the wider parts of the shafts. The put on the other cover. After that try to force the flywheel on the shaft, that has the larger gear. Done!
