  • AMS Ready: Designed for dual-color printing. Use the "text" export mode to easily assign a contrasting color to your settings.

  • Live Settings Data: Displays Brand, Material, Temps (Layer 1 vs. Rest), Layer Height, and Nozzle Size directly on the card.

  • Translucency Tester: Features a 6-step thickness gauge (staircase) from 1 to 6 layers to test material opacity and light transmission.

  • Mini Torture Test Suite: Includes 4 integrated tests:

    1. Sphere: Top-surface quality and curved overhangs.

    2. Cylinder/Hole: Tolerance and concentricity check.

    3. Bridge/Overhang: 90-degree bridging test across a well.

    4. Pyramid: Fine point detail and cooling performance.

  • Functional Design: Includes a keyring hole, a fingernail slit for easy removal from storage boxes, and textured "coin-edge" perimeters for grip.

🚀 How to Customize

This model is Parametric. You can use the OpenSCAD Customizer to change:

  1. Filament Info: Update the Brand and Color name.

  2. Printing Specs: Input your specific temps, layer heights, and printer name.

  3. Export Modes: * body: The main card with text subtracted (perfect for single color).

    • text: Just the letters (for multi-material/AMS).

    • all: A preview of the combined final look.

🖨 Recommended Print Settings

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm (standard) or match what you are testing.

  • Wall Loops: 2-3.

  • Infill: 100% (recommended for accurate translucency testing).

  • Top Surface Pattern: Monotonic Line for the cleanest text.

💡 Multi-Color / AMS Instructions (Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer)

  1. Export the body as an STL.

  2. Export the text as a separate STL.

  3. Drag both files into your slicer at the same time.

  4. When asked "Load these files as a single object with multiple parts?", select YES.

  5. Assign your colors and enjoy your custom data card!
