A Crochet blocking board for granny squares. As described here, blocking a wet crochet piece such as a granny square allows you to make your creations flat and uniform size. The benefit of this over a foam blocking board is the ability to stack multiple squares onto one set of rods. This board has a large pattern of holes to support multiple granny square sizes, shapes, or designs.
The holes are sized for a 1/8" rod like this one from Lowes (hole size is 3.4 mm diameter) or you could use a wooden dowel rod.
