The lynx family has slam fire by default due to the mechanism, but that makes depriming clunky. You often have to load a dart or just let it dry fire since proper barrel lengths tend to stop inside the shroud. This block slides between the pump grip and catch block to enable trigger depriming while the pump the is held back.
This disables slam fire of course, with the additional side effect of causing a trigger lock for any pump position between forward and back. Also should provide enough reinforcement to use printed pump bars.
Requires you to brace properly and take the force of your spring off the catch (incidental pump slamming protection of sorts)
Let the bars press into the bridged gap to secure it. Shim the space between it and the back of the pump block if necessary.
BOM:
1x 9657K644 (same spring that comes in your lynx kit) (Rev 3)
a small spring over 12mm in length and under 6mm in diameter for Rev 1, over 20mm for Rev 2
other notes:
recommended to use with the raised face sear if using Rev 1, but not required for Rev 2
Rev 1 uses 1:1 gearing and has a softer catch disengagement when you aren't fully holding back the spring, but may not fully release the catch if you don't fully hold back the spring during depriming. Rev 2 adds mechanical disadvantage in exchange for fewer parts and more travel to ensure it doesn't leave the catch at 95% disengaged with the catch nut. It will require you to fully relieve spring force from the catch to press the deprime with reasonable force.
Rev 3 released as an open beta. Prototype version worked without issue on my mini Kunlynx. Let me know if there are any issues with it.
12-29-25 UPDATE:
-Catch1 should be reprinted to a modified one to prevent the depriming arm from pushing the catch too far and causing the plunger to catch on the opposite side.
4-18-26:
-realized I overcomplicated this and updated to a simpler version. Added Rev 3 files and the step file.
-added a modified catch 1 to increase reliability: stops catch overtravel and adds an off ramp for the sear
