I wanted to make a nice fridge magnet version of this, with a good surface quality. So I flattened the object and turned it upside down. This looks pretty good using a Core One with a textured printed sheet, but one needs a MMU to print it.
I printed with a 0.4mm nozzle, but I think a 0.2mm one would work better at this scale.
