Tiny Parts Funnel for Ziplock Bags

I designed this little tray because I was sick of fumbling with tiny screws and parts when trying to get them into those small 3D printer part baggies or small ziplock bags. If you work with any tech hardware you know how annoying it is to try to get lots of little parts into a bag without any hassle.

It’s only about 37mm x 37mm and 12mm high, so it’s perfect for small electronics screws, terminals, or even just keeping organized during a teardown. You just tip the parts into the tray, and the chute guides them straight into the bag without you having to use your fingers like tweezers.

It’s small enough that you can leave a few of them around the workbench without them getting in the way. I might do a bigger one for the kitchen later on, but this one is strictly for the small stuff.

Print Settings:

  • Material: I used PLA in the image but I made a second in PETG just so I can throw it in the toolbox and not worry about it warping if it sits in the car on a hot day.

  • Resolution: I used 0.2mm layer height, but you could use 0.12mm or 0.16mm layer height to keep those fillets and the chute smooth.

  • Walls: 2 or 3 is plenty for something this size.

  • Supports: None needed. Prints perfectly as-is.
