This is a small basket is made with both 2mm and 3mm walls (chose your liking). Basket dimensions are approximately 92 mm bottom diameter, 130 mm top diameter, with a height of 140 mm. Volume holds ~ 1370 CC's (or 46 fl. oz or 3 pints/5.8 cups).
This basket easily holds a standard (1 gallon of milk, 1 quart of buttermilk) batch of soft ricotta cheese.
Can be printed in your FDM material of choosing, however, be advised that the cheese curds may be hot while initially straining (i.e. standard PLA may melt/soften). I've had success using PETG without any softening or deformation. You can line the inside of the basket with a cheese cloth prior to straining.
Print with the bottom flat on the build plate/bed. Requires NO supports.
Please let's avoid the microplastic discussions and contact with food items and sanitary issues with long term use (or re-use). You can re-print a new basket for each new use. Use at your own risk.
