Unsatisfied with the limitation of proslat mounting hooks and individuals costs, I developed a "drop in" nut that allows you to mount universally anything to it. This fit and design has been verified on Proslat "PVC Slatwall" product line. I have not validated any other products.
The design uses embedded heatserts that you will need to insert after printing.
I currently have two designs available, a single and double option. The difference between the two assemblies is the number of heatserts that it requires / allows for additional holding strength. Currently, the design is limited to M3 heatserts due to the panel opening of the slatwall. However, I am currently investigating additional alternatives to potentially utilize larger fasteners.
Once the heatserts are installed, just press the end into the slat wall and it will rotate inward.
