Built this as a fun challenge. Indexes off cutting edge, bar side, and adjacent tooth. Magnifies height of raker by about 14X. Indicator can be centered by screw adjustment. Metal at all potential wear points. Uses a drill bit for contact alignment to adjacent tooth, and a small piece of thin metal where tooth cutting edge contacts. Also needs screw and spring. Accurate, but fussy to use, much like aligning a micrometer etc. Run a tap through the threaded finger to suit your screw.
