2 axis controllable nerf turret
This project is super fun but be prepared to put in some effort.
I used a raspberry pi pico and an odroid-xu4 but you can use whatever you would like I have attached all the files you may need to change to make other boards fit as a STEP file.
Github contains all the code files I am using.
This turret has a spot to mount a camera or any other type of sensor that you would like. Mine currently has a camera for auto tracking but I have also played around with a thermal imaging sensor and a laser range finder.

*Only 1 required if auto homing is not important to you
**Only required if implementing auto homing
***Preferably over 2000mah
****Should come with your motors but make sure they are long enough
You may also want to use a copper tube of 1/2in nominal diameter (5/8 OD) as your tilt axis pivot but you can also print this which is what I did.
The whole project takes about 800 grams of PLA to print.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
