IKEA UPPDATERA Kitchen Cabinet Organizer - Modular Size Extension
The original pegboard kitchen organizer system by Javier Hernando is incredibly useful for securing dishes, pots, and lids. However, when trying to fit it perfectly into specific drawer dimensions, the original modular combinations ("BASE_1 to 2" and "BASE_2 to 2") can leave gaps or lack sizing flexibility.
To fix this, I designed a set of interlocking mid-sections that allow you to extend the system step-by-step to custom lengths or widths. These additions bridge the gap seamlessly so your plates stay organized and rock-solid without shifting around inside the cabinet drawer.
Smart Modular System Features:
Granular Length Adjustments: Added mid-sections spanning 1, 2, 3, or 4 grid element depths.
Bi-directional Layouts: Following community feedback, alternative alignment cuts have been engineered (available as the "Base_X to 2_2" and "Base_X to 2_4" variations) so you can orient and scale your setup in the opposite direction without slicing diagonally into critical peg placements.
Print Settings:
Material: PLA works perfectly fine for stable cabinet installations.
Supports: None needed. Designed to print completely flat on the build plate.
