StealthBurner Cartographer V4 Probe Mount

This is a StealthBurner probe mount specifically designed for the latest Cartographer V4.

It supports low-profile Cartographer V4 and MIGHT work with standart version, depending on your hotend length and mounting height(NO GUARANTEE)
The design was created using all official CAD models, assembled into a complete StealthBurner setup to ensure proper fit and compliance.

Design Notes & Compatibility

• Designed around Rapido 2 hotend

• When using the Standard (Recommended) mount version, no metal parts are within or cross the metal no-go zone defined in the official Cartographer CAD model

• Compatible with the standard StealthBurner carriage; no reprint required—simply install this mount onto the existing carriage.

Probe Setup Note

• Coil-to-nozzle offset: Y = 22.427 mm, X = 0 (probe is perfectly centered)

• Use these values when configuring your Cartographer V4 probe for accurate measurements and Z-offset

Required Hardware

To mount this probe, you will need:

• M3 heat-set inserts ×2

• M3 screws (12 mm or longer) ×2

  • BHCS or SHCS both work

• Standard Voron probe retainer bracket ×1

• M3 screws ×2 (included in the Cartographer box, used to mount the Cartographer probe to this mount)

Available Versions

I am providing three versions of the mount to accommodate different wiring preferences.

1. Standard Version (Recommended)

No wire hole in the center

• Fully compliant with Cartographer documentation; no metal present in the no-go zone.

• Recommended for best performance and reliability

Wire routing options:

• Use StealthBurner endstop wire hole

• Or route wires through the carriage probe mounting holes (if space allows after height adjustment)

2. Center Wire Hole Version (⚠ Not Recommended)

Designed for Cartographer’s CAN cable

• Center hole fits 4 standard Cartographer V4 wires (without connectors or crimps).

• Introduces wires into the no-go zone, which is discouraged by Cartographer documentation

• Use at your own risk

Wire routing:

• Through the center hole

• Then up through the standard StealthBurner wire path

3. USB Cable Hole Version (⚠ Not Recommended)

Larger center hole for USB cable

• Hole is large enough to pass one end of the stock USB cable without removing pins

• Same no-go zone issue

Wire routing:

• Through the center hole

• Then up through the standard StealthBurner wire path
