This bracket is designed to support the weight of the GPU in a bequiet! Silent Base 802. When the case is inverted (with the window to the right), the GPU sits at the top. So the common solution to the sagging problem of placing a support piece below would be impractical in this case (pun intended). This solves the issue by mounting to the radiator tray at the top.

The design was originally made for my Palit GeForce RTX 4080 GameRock. The corresponding part has screw holes for some M3 SHCS to screw to the side of the GPU heatsink. You may need to adjust this in CAD to suit your model (see step file). Alternatively there is either a slotted bracket for different screw spacing or a generic one with just a hook for the GPU to sit on, though the latter won't be as solid.

Printing

Supports are not required. Print using a heat-resistant material like PETG, ABS or ASA. I would recommend to not use PLA, since temperatures close to the GPU heatsink would cause the bracket to deform over time.

Parts

In addition to the prints the following components are required:

  • 8x heatset inserts M3x4.5x6mm (OD x length)

  • 4x M3 socket head cap screws M3x12mm (for the tray mount)

  • 4x M3 socket head cap screws M3x10mm

  • 8x M3 washers M3x7mm

Assembly

Some heatset inserts need to be inserted from the opposite side of the srcrew. There are additional holes to give some flexibility. Washers are required for mounting to the slit in the tray. Alternatively use screws with larger diameter heads.
