I've been using a pair of steel 1-2-3 blocks I made in 1986. but gave them to my son to start him off with a set of tools in the tooling trade. So, I needed to print a set. Since everything is metric, I decided 20-40-60 blocks would work well....and they do.
Each block has three 6mm holes in them to bolt to the table of my X-Carve as needed to clamp irregular parts. I also use them as blocks to clamp against with my low profile clamps.
I find them to be quite helpful
