A simple tool designed to help make painting eyes on garage kits easier, more comfortable, and more dust-free.

Simply choose the hole size that is closest to the peg of the piece, then insert along with some blue tack or clay to get the best fit. Each hole also has a cylindrical hole going all the way to the outside of the ring in order to accommodate a brass rod extending from the head piece's key (this also will help keep the part more stable). Once the piece is in place, you can grip the larger circle and paint from any angle comfortably without needing to touch the part.

The tool uses 3 different sizes of holes with four different rotations for each size, so that characters looking off to one side can still be oriented flat with the ring (or very close to flat).

I had success printing with PLA at 0.2mm layers, standing the model at a 45 degree angle with some supports to avoid excessive supports being trapped in the holes. It's worth noting I am not an expert at FDM printing, so if you think you know better then you probably do.

It's also worth noting that this will not be the last version of this tool, I'm already thinking about how to overcome the shortcomings and also how to accommodate head pieces that have a hole instead of a key. The goal is to eventually have some sort of simple spring mechanism that makes blue tack unnecessary.
