This started as a remix of the original model, but then I realized I was making nearly the same changes as TwentySix2's version, so I tried marking this as a remix of both. Unfortunately the two licenses are incompatible with each other, so I chose the original.
I started remixing this because it wouldn't stay on my car tire ... not even close. Even after I added a stronger connection at the joint it wouldn't stay, so then I added the other threaded side, which seemed to do the trick. I also made the threaded grip 1mm shorter to allow a bit more clearance if your valve sits low. I also cleaned up the whole model a bit to have chamfered edges and cleaner printing (no unsupported edges, etc). I'm not sure how much of a difference it really makes, but it makes me feel better.
FWIW, I tested this on my car and it took roughly 21 seconds to drop the PSI from 50 to 43. So, a rough estimate for timing your air down is 3 seconds per PSI. You should probably test this yourself though, as I'm sure it changes with each situation!
Printing
standard settings for a 0.4mm nozzle should work fine.
I used PETG-GF for mine. I assume anything would work.
