Had a spare BIQU Panda Revo and decided to put it to good use. This mod is only tested with it, but should also work with most of Bambu P1/X1 style hotends. The heater uses 10-12 more watts, but it worked for us.
Usual warnings: we are not responsible for anything, mod at your own risk. This may not fit your printer due to Flashforge making new revisions for some reason. Feel free to remix if something doesn't work for you.
Small note: uploaded stl and CAD models have some extra space right over the hotend for the wires which is not present in the photo (wasn't a concern for us initially because of the long wires on the revo hotend).
ABS is still recommended, but it is possible that PETG will work just fine. You still have to resolder the hotend connector, Bambu connector has incorrect pinout (can be fixed by taping 4 middle pins on one of the two pin rows) and collides with the body of extruder when assembling the toolhead.
Before installing the mod, please read the entire description of this and the original models.
Assembly instructions are basically the same as for the original model, with a few exceptions:
This mod doesn't use PTFE tube.
You need 2 more heat set inserts for the new hotend mount. When inserting them, be sure to squish the displaced material back to its original shape, it may get in the way of the heatsink.
You need 2 M3x10 (or a bit longer) screws to mount the hotend.
You can install the fan in the same place as in the original model, or you can mount it on the hotend radiator (intended way).
