🏗 FN BUILD: The Phygital Tabletop Battle Royale
GAME COMPANION APP LINK BELOW
1. Overview 📋
Crank 90s on your tabletop! FN BUILD is a fast-paced, real-time dexterity game for 2–4 players where video game logic meets real-world physics. By bridging frantic physical building with a smart digital companion app, FN BUILD creates a unique "Phygital" (Physical + Digital) ecosystem.
Players: 2–4 👥
Round Time: 2 Minutes (controlled by the App) ⏱
Winning Condition: Tallest stable structure 🏆
Tie-Breaker: Fewest pieces used (Efficiency) ⚖
FREE GIVEAWAY (2 conditions to meet for entry) on the games Companion App

2. The Game Concept 🎮
Forget turn-based strategy. In FN BUILD, everyone plays simultaneously. You have exactly two minutes to frantically grab pieces from the "loot pile" and construct the tallest possible stable tower.
The catch? Gravity is your greatest enemy. The pieces are engineered to mimic in-game building parts—complete with interlocking tabs, slots, and hooks. You must balance speed with structural integrity.
The Risk: If your tower falls during the build, you must restart from zero. 💥
The End: When the App signals "HANDS OFF," building stops immediately. The tallest surviving tower wins. 🛑
3. The 3D Printed Components 🧩
The game relies on four distinct, precisely engineered interlocking parts. Understanding how they connect is the key to victory.
🧱 A. The Wall (The Stabilizer)
Function: The backbone of any build.
Engineering: Features rigid tabs on the top and bottom edges for vertical stacking. It provides the necessary vertical height for your tower.
⏹ B. The Floor (The Connector)
Function: The crucial hub piece.
Engineering: Designed with four "pass-through slots" along the edges.
The Secret: These slots allow walls to connect from above (to build up) OR from below (to create support columns underneath ramps). This bi-directional connecting ability is the core of advanced stability.
📐 C. The Ramp (The Risk)
Function: High risk, high reward. Allows rapid outward expansion.
Engineering: It does not sit flat. Instead, it uses a specialized bottom C-channel clamp to hook onto the edge of Floors or Walls.
The Challenge: Ramps shift your center of gravity dangerously. While they offer a quick way up and out, a "naked" ramp is prone to tipping the whole tower.
🔼 D. The Cone (The Finisher)
Function: A pyramid capstone.
Engineering: It cannot support pieces on top of it. It is used strictly to gain that final inch of height or to block opponents in specific game modes.
4. Advanced Techniques ⚡
FN BUILD isn't just stacking blocks; it requires architectural strategy.
The "Supported Ramp Rush"
Just like in the source video game, a naked ramp is weak.
The Problem: Placing a Ramp on a Floor shifts weight outward, often causing a tip-over. ⚠
The Solution: Utilizing the Floor's "pass-through slots," you can slide a Wall piece underneath the Ramp/Floor combo. 🛠
The Result: This locks the ramp into the base below, creating a rigid, weight-bearing triangular box. This is essential for going high without crumbling. ✅
5. The Companion App: FN BUILD | Cloud Edition 📱
The game is powered by a specialized mobile web app that acts as the "Game Master." It replaces a passive stopwatch with an active "Tension Engine."
The Tension Engine (Visual Storytelling) 🌪
The app uses screen flashes and color shifts to induce psychological pressure, forcing players to make mistakes in the real world.
Safe Zone (2:00 – 1:00): Blue overlay 🔵. The atmosphere is calm, allowing for steady foundation building.
Storm Pulse (1:00 – 0:10): The screen pulses purple 🟣 with a "breathing" animation, mimicking a closing storm circle. The urgency increases.
Final Zone (0:10 – 0:00): The screen flashes aggressive red and black 🔴⚫. This induces panic during the most critical moments of the build.
Lockout: At 0:00, the screen displays "HANDS OFF! ✋", serving as the impartial judge to stop play.
The Digital Ledger (Persistence) 📊
Unlike traditional board games where the score is lost once the box is closed, FN BUILD tracks your legacy.
Squad History: Connect with friends and create a "Squad." 🤝
Ranked Tracking: The app records two metrics to the cloud:
Tower Height: The primary score. 📏
Materials Used: The efficiency rating (tie-breaker). 🧱
Leaderboards: View your stats against your Squad or the global player base to see who truly is the "Master Builder." 🥇

🖨 Printing Instructions
These parts are designed to be durable and have a satisfying "snap" fit.
Material: PLA works great, but PETG offers slightly better durability for pieces that flex (like the Ramp hook).
Infill: Recommended 15-20% Gyroid or Cubic for a good balance of weight and print speed. You want them heavy enough to be stable, but light enough to stack high.
Layer Height: 0.2mm suggested.
Supports:
Walls/Floors/Cones: No supports needed. Print flat.
Ramp: Requires supports. The overhanging top platform and the bottom hook area will need support material for clean printing. Orientation depends on your printer's bridging capabilities.
(Note: You will need to print many duplicates of the Walls, Floors, and Ramps to create a sufficient "loot pile" for 2-4 players. We recommend starting with roughly 20 of each for a solid 2-player game.)
