What does forever mean? you can service this and the components should last a lifetime. its overbuilt and under utilized 12amp BMS only using 3amps. 20AH LIFEPO4 Battery. it will run for over 50 hours. you can stick in in a go bag for 5 years and it should still hold a usable charge when you need it. 6 amp switch switching milliamps. 100watt pd trigger pushing no more than 25w etc. etc..
Even if the cell loses half its capacity over the next 10-15 years thats still enough for 20-30 hours of illumination.
Print the body in anything you want. print the TPU parts in TPU (any kind you want) or for a truly nearly indestructible flashlight print the whole thing in TPU. I DO NOT suggest using anything but flexibles for the bumper and cap. the battery is some 2 pounds. if you drop this IT WILL SHATTER if the ends do not give a little.

match the image use image search and the keywords. for the BMS Especially MAKE SURE you get the LIFE 3.2v versions NOT the Li-Ion 3.7v versions. Make sure to use 20awg silicone wire between the battery and BMS for everything else anything you want (very low power) but the PD Trigger WILL PERMIT 5v 5-6 AMPS if your PSU permits so you need to use 20awg silicone quality wire or it will heat up
ALSO USE A METER AND CLEARLY MARK THE BATTERY positive and negative are "NOT MARKED" on these cells.
