I build this after my son had grown a crystal from a science experiment set. After I saw how good it looks with light coming from above.
And since he needed the measuring cup from the set later on I had the idea to make something I can print for him to put it in with light.

I added a "glass tube" object, I only used this to cut the circle in the top and bottom because I will use a cut bottle for it, but if someone would want to print with clear Filament I added the object (though it could be a really tight fit).

It's made to put a dissassembled LED tea light into the bottom and guide wires through the hollow rod into the top. I added two LED holder parts, one for a single LED and one for 3, reason is I don't know yet if the battery can power 3 LEDs with enough power. Added cubes into the LED holder parts to better put the top onto it (Maybe sanding is required, will update after printing).
For LED size I cut 5,1mm holes so 5mm LEDs should fit.

(Images from inside 3DBuilder how it could look when assemlbes without the glass tube, though I had cut a circle into the bottom where the object will be positioned and I made the screenshots before)

Edit:

I have now printed it, son wanted it in golden so I used Sunlu Silk gold PLA.

It was a bit tight to get the rods into the holes, needed a bit of drilling the holes a little bit wider. Also had to cut away a bit where the disassembled tea light came in, since it needed a bit more space than I measured.

Also had edited the top closing part to have the edges angled to not just be a square block, have to upload that part still.
