5 String Concert Ukulele
A commenter asked on my other project (a "normal" 4 string Concert Ukulele) asked if my generator can produce a 5 string version, so here it is!
DISCLAIMER: I haven't tried printing it yet!
Third Party Parts:
- Spine/rods e.g. http://www.acpsales.com/.125-x-.325-Rectangular-Rod.html or https://dragonplate.com/ecart/product.asp?pID=749&cID=20
- get two 24" long rods and cut it down to size
- if you don't use a rod, the neck will bow under string tension
- Gotoh UPT-UBB-B Tuners e.g. http://www.theukulelesite.com/gotoh-upt-tuner-upgrade.html
- its possible to use cheaper friction tuners
- M2 wood screws like these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MTKUV85
- To be printed on big delta style printers, oriented with neck pointing up, like a flower vase
- I recommend 100 micron, at least 33% lattice infill.
