The Design
The standard Dell Docking stations sit flat on the desk. This often makes it awkward to plug in USB devices at the front, and stiff cables in the back tend to push the dock around on the desk.
The solution was this angled dock adjuster, and this solves the "flat dock" problem by introducing a slight incline. By elevating the front of the unit, the ports are tilted towards you for easier access.
Hardware Required
To assemble this stand, you will need:
4x M3 x 12mm screws: Used to secure the left and right feet to the top cover.
The top cover features pre-modeled holes to ensure perfect alignment with the feet.
Printing & Assembly Tips
Material: PLA is fine, but PETG is recommended for the top cover if your dock tends to run hot.
Orientation: Print the feet on their sides and the top cover flat for maximum strength and no-support printing.
Fitment: The screws should bite into the plastic of the feet for a secure, "set it and forget it" fit.
