Turn your sleek little M4 Mac Mini into the mini-boss it was always destined to be: a pint-sized tribute to the legendary Mac Pro "cheese grater"!
This bad boy comfortably cradles your M4 Mac Mini while giving full access to the power button, unrestricted airflow to those whisper-quiet fans, and generous built-in storage space for your external hard drives, USB hubs, dongle graveyard, and all the other accessories that make your setup actually useful.
Inspired by Apple's iconic stainless steel Mac Pro grille (you know, the one that looks like it could shred parmesan from across the room), and lovingly reverse-engineered from this legendary deep-dive article on how those hemispherical holes are precision-machined into reality: https://saccade.com/blog/2019/06/how-to-make-apples-mac-pro-holes/
The case cleverly snaps together—no screws, no drama—with clever insertable "handles" (spoiler: they're for looks only—grab 'em to lift and you'll have a very expensive, very sad day) plus sturdy feet. The front and rear panels click on securely with embedded 3×6 magnets for that satisfying snap and easy access whenever you need it. The magnets should press fit, but based on your printer's tolerance a touch of superglue might help secure them.
Printed in gorgeous Polymaker Silk PLA that catches the light just right—almost like real brushed aluminum, but way cheaper and zero fingerprints. (Pictured is a silver silk gradient that didn't quite work for this size. Your desk will thank you. Your Mac Mini will look like it finally grew up and got the corner office it deserves. And your friends? They'll do a double-take and ask if you secretly bought a Mac Pro shrinkage ray.
Perfect for the Apple fan who wants max style, max function, and zero actual cheese-grating accidents. Standard PLA print settings should work fine, but printing both halves in the same orientation helps keep dimensional accuracy
Download, print, assemble, and pretend you're running a data center in miniature. Because why settle for a boring black box when you can have this?
