Use your leftover filament to make friction welding bits! Fits perfectly inside a standard 1/8" collet. Just cut off the base and put it in your dremel like a standard bit. See remixed design for more instructions on friction welding.
If you're having issues with the bit staying in the collet, cut the base at a point a tiny bit wider than the shaft, remove the collet and insert it from the back, then mount as normal. Can't fall out anymore!
