A string based VR gunstock I designed as I couldn't find one that matched what I need, I have found it absolutely great but if you find it too long you can replace the centre piece with the "spacer" from the link in this description. IMPORTANT: from this link you must download the "right hand grip" piece (or left hand if you're left handed) for the controller to attach to. Also, for the connector pieces, the first one can be TPU if you want durability and the option to adjust the string length ( I will include how to at the end) but if it is in TPU rather than a less flexible filament such as PLA or PETG you need the second part of the connector which is a sheath to keep the TPU in shape. For assembly, it's all very intuitive but you need to pull the wrist tighteners to the ends of the strings and place them flat into the connector piece 1 and pull them to the ends. Any questions, I'll be happy to answer, I should be able to quite quickly. Also the duct tape I added in the pictures is just for added stability as I cracked the centre piece slightly due to a cheap hot glue gun, I'd suggest using either hot glue or super glue and pushing the pieces together quickly. For adjusting the string, you need to move the controller's wrist tightener piece up the string a bit further from the end and place it into the first connector piece and slide the other over so there is string sticking out, you can use this to lengthen or shorten the string.
