I have suspended ceilings at home, and underneath them, there's already a molding for installing a recessed light fixture with springs. The problem is, the chandelier I needed didn't have such a fastener. I made a strip for an M5 nut. And the lamp itself was attached using two long bolts and nuts. I drilled holes in the strip so that the nuts wouldn't need to be secured with a wrench; that was physically impossible.
