This is a vase made mostly from filament straight off the spool.
Print the pieces, or the whole model if you're bold, and then wrap filament around it.
If printed in pieces, everything will need to be glued together. The legs or ribs of the vase will go from 1 to 6 counterclockwise when viewed from the top.
On the one I put together I only glued the filament where it crossed the first and last leg. That did leave it kind of loose, so I may go back and add more glue.
I wrapped mine in a rainbow filament but, as you can tell from the photos, the colors change so gradually it's hard to tell that they're changing at all.
This uses about 34 feet (10.3 meters) of filament for the wrap.
This vase won't hold water, obviously, but it's a good way to display your printed or Lego flowers.
