I changed the original a bit to make it a general scoop into a bag. e.g. cut up fruit for freezing, etc. It can also be placed under the edge of the countertop to use a bit like a funnel into a bag. I didn't use the newer version with the bag clamp as I wanted to use ziplock bags. I made it with a solid base and increased the size of the oval end. The smaller ziplock bags fit over it.
