Plier Holster Summary
The Plier Holster is printed from TPU, ensuring it can handle daily wear and tear without compromising strength. It fits pliers ranging from 19 cm (approx. 7.5 inches) to 23 cm (approx. 9 inches) in height. While it can accommodate smaller pliers, accessing them may be more challenging.
This holster features a belt loop for easy attachment, keeping your tools securely within reach, along with additional pen holders for extra functionality, making it ideal for various tasks. Inspired by a core layout my father liked from the original fisherman plier holster by Supra1988T, this design has been adapted for larger pliers and enhanced with extra utility features.
Detailed Description
Print Information:
Material: Best printed using TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) for flexibility and durability.
Layer Height: 0.2 mm (adjust for detail)
Infill: 20-30% for a balance between strength and material usage.
Print Speed: Recommended 30-50 mm/s; can also be printed successfully at 100% speed on the A1 Mini.
Supports: Not necessary, simplified the printing process. Rotate if needed.
Temperature: Follow manufacturer guidelines for TPU, typically 220-240°C for the nozzle.
Post-Processing: Be aware that printing may result in some spiderwebbing, which can be easily trimmed for a cleaner finish. After printing, check for fit and make any adjustments to ensure optimal usability.
Use Case: Great for transporting pliers on the go, whether for construction or at a landfill, depending on personal needs.
