The Lockheed Martin VH-71 was a proposed presidential helicopter developed for the United States Marine Corps to replace the aging Marine One fleet. Based on the Italian-British AgustaWestland AW101, it was intended to feature advanced communications, defensive systems, and enhanced protection for the U.S. President. Despite its modern design and capabilities, the VH-71 program was canceled in 2009 due to rising costs and changing requirements.
Printing Info
There are two versions you can print, one with and one without landing gear, both with and without a sprue. You can also print all parts seperatly. Since there are two versions, there are no kits with a fixed rotor. If you have problems with the rotor, there is still a fixed one under seperate. Happy printing!
Building Info
The rotor might be stuck initially. Attach it to the fuselage and then wiggle carefully back and forth till its loose. If you have problems with bending the tail you might carefully warm the tail up and then bend it (like the winglets of my other plane models).
