Received two Xerxes Pi boards from the Kickstarter and wanted to mount them into my LabStack rack using only a single LabStack module space. Threw together this remix of both the models in FreeCad and it's now set up and running in my rack.
Printing: You'll want to print out this module cover here, and then the Xerxes Pi Single Case (Wingman) main body and optionally the end cap. You can find those two models here:
Print Settings: Printed with Prusament PETG with the 0.25 SPEED profile on my Core One.
Module Assembly: The front cap and the main case fit together with a friction fit that while tight does go together if you gently angle it just right and then apply a bit of force once all four corners are aligned.
Usage Notes: RapidAnalysis Published a mounting sled model that screws in to the CM4/5 heatsink from below using 16-20mm M2 screws. Get the model here:
I highly recommend using the sled with this LabStack module. The Xerxes Pi module now sits snugly in the mount. If you are not using an M.2 drive, or are not using an M.2 heatsink, you can use the sled model they published as is.
I am working on a modification of the sled to account for taller M.2 2242 SSD heatsinks.
