I created a base and copied a design to create the column mount (https://makerworld.com/en/models/1717822-stream-deck-plus-xlr-support#profileId-1823431) for a sim rig. The base that the XLR sits on allows you to move it forward and backward, with a slight rotation left and right.

The mount is at around 35 degrees and uses 8mm bolts with your T-Nuts to mount it to your rig.  The bolts to mount from the base to the column mount are m5x0.8mm (length would be 12mm or longer and you need a nut on the bottom).  The screw hole is 5.2mm diameter.

Inserting: You will need to flex the top just a bit to get it to slide in (make sure you don't scratch it) and I added a lip to the front so it doesn't slide out as easily.

Hardware: you need (2) of each:

  • M8-1.25 x 16mm Socket Head Cap Screws

  • M8 T Nuts (4040 Series)

  • M5-0.8mm x 12mm (or longer)

  • M5 nuts
