This tool for uniform pencil sharpening designed for standard 7 mm hexagonal pencils, but also can be used for sharpening pencils with similar size and other shapes (circle, triangle, etc). Tool don't need supports for printing. You can use any type of material for printing, but hard plastics will be optimal

Tool have a 4 numbered jigs, each number corresponds to his own operation:

№1: Shaping the upper part of the pencil end

№2: Shaping the lower part of the pencil end

№3,4: Shaping the right and left sides of the pencil end

№5: Pointing the sharpened lead

To perform each operation, place the pencil into the recess of the corresponding jig and slide it forward until its end stops. Modeling scalpel - optimal choice for work with this tool

Tips:

  • Use a sharp scalpel blade

  • Avoid applying excessive pressure to the tip of the pencil while sharpening

  • Don't thy to remove too much material at once, shave off small pieces instead

  • Hold the pencil body in place with your thumb in the recess during sharpening
