Create your own home decor candles with this easy mould design. It features two identical halves with a top plug, and with it you can pour concrete, jesmonite or any other moulding material to make this bold, brutalist candle holder.
The pictures shown are moulded using a fine, fast drying mortar with a bluestone oxide.
The finished candle is 55mm x 55mm x 90mm H, and has a 41mm dia. x 15mm D cavity to hold a standard tea candle.
A base plate is also included for the finished mould, so it can be safely placed on table tops.
The mould bodies and top plug have been printed in CF-PLA, however normal PLA will do fine.
The mould plug sleeve must be printed in TPU - this is to allow it be flexed out when de-moulding.
The two mould body halves are bolted together using 6x M5 x 20mm bolts, washers and nuts.
