Even though there are lots of WDT tools on Printables here are the reasons I created one myself;
I don't want plastic moving parts because friction will inevitably cause micro plastic particles in the espresso
I like manual control and simplicity
I really like the clean look of macorei's tool (https://www.printables.com/model/786687-wdt-with-base) but its too big for me
I want to be able to change the needles but still want a compact body
I tried different numbers of needles and six seemed great for my technique
