I love my cookbooks, but I don’t use them as often as I find recipes online. I think that’s a shame, as there are many advantages to cookbooks: they’re great for inspiration, and there are no ads, popups, or long, irrelevant stories like in many online recipes.

But there are a few things that make me use cookbooks less. I often need to be able to move easily back and forth between recipes, and if I have a favorite, I want to find it quickly.

These small tab clips brought new life to my enjoyment of home cooking and using cookbooks.

The clips require supports, as the difference in height makes them very sturdy without damaging the pages.

The package includes files for 5 or 10 clips. If you need fewer, you can simply delete the models in the slicer.

How to print (READ THIS)
The clips can easily be printed using a single color Prusa printer. Standard stl files are included for other printers, but the color change will not work. Files for Bambu lab printers can be found here: MakerWorld

Here is how to print the numbered tabs:

  • Start by printing the the .3mf file with the numbers (Open as project)

  • When the numbers are done, make a filament change

  • Then open the file with the clips (Open as project). These will be printed on top of the numbers.

  • Print settings for the clips: 0.3mm first layer. Supports on build plate only.

  • After printing you may need a small knife to help removing the supports.

Here is how to print the icon tabs:
