I noticed when printing the original model that the interior walls were different colors than the exterior walls for a large portion of the print. I simply repainted the interior so that the interior walls match the exterior walls (red or white). You lose the pure white interior, but if it's full of pencils, who cares?
On my Bambulabs P2S using the .20mm High Quality setting and a 0.4mm nozzle, this small change saves 325 filament swaps (471 vs 796), 207 grams of filament (311 vs 518), and reduces the printing time by about 12 hours (18 hours vs 30 hours).
Oh, I also painted the seam to go straight down one of the sides to keep the text looking nice.
