FluxWallet - A magnetically locking wallet

After printing and testing various different wallets from other amazing designers like @SMACKMAX and @Hugo I was always left feeling something was missing. And this inspired this design - the FluxWallet.

A rather simple wallet whose defining feature is the magnetic arm on the top-right. It holds up to 6 cards, has a recess for an AirTag and a magnetic shopping cart coin (which has the exact dimensions of 1€). As an addition FluxWallet also features a moneyClip to secure your bills.

The magnetic arm makes sure that the cards do not come loose or fall out. The notch at the 'bottom' of the wallet allows you to push your cards out easily.

Assembly

The FluxWallet consists of 3 main parts

• Back

• Arm

• Front

With the front, you again have 3 choices:

• Simple Front - A clean front without anything

  • SimpleFront

• Coin Front - A front which has a recess for a magnetic 1€ coin

  • No Airtag - Midplate

  • No Airtag - Front

  • 1 Euro Coin Dupe

• Airtrag Front - A front which supports both an Airtag and a magnetic 1€ coin

  • Airtag - Midplate

  • Airtag - Front

  • 1 Euro Coin Dupe

The assembly is very simple:
Step 1: Print your parts
Step 2: Align the 6mm Magnets and insert in the holes for the Arm and Back. Fix with a dab of superglue if required.
Step 3 (Airtag-Front/Coin Front): Align the 10mm magnets on the 1 Euro Coin Dupe and the midplate. Fix with a dab of Superglue.
Step 4: Use a soldering iron to insert the heatset inserts on the back.
Step 5 (Optional): Insert the Cash Clip
Step 6: Stack the Arm on the Back, the Midplate on the back and then the Front on the Midplate. Secure with your M2 x 12 countersunk screws.

• 2x Magnet ( D 6mm x 2mm )
