🌀 Ultimate Modular Lazy Susan (Rotary Organizer)

This is a sleek, low-profile Lazy Susan designed for maximum versatility. Whether you need to organize your 3D printing station (nozzles, glue sticks, tools) or your kitchen spices as seen in the photo, this print ensures everything is just a flick away.

🛠 Print Settings

  • Material: PLA, PETG, or ASA (recommended if used near a stove).

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm for a balance of speed and smoothness.

  • Infill: 15% Gyroid (provides great structural support for heavy glass jars).

  • Supports: Minimal supports required for the Top Part only; the Base is print-in-place ready.

  • Hardware: Optimized for 5/32" (3.97mm) stainless steel balls.

📖 Assembly Instructions

  1. The Base: Print the bottom "track" piece and ensure the raceway is clear of any debris.

  2. The Bearings: Drop 6 stainless steel balls into the designated slots. They should roll freely within the track.

  3. The Top: Carefully align and place the top plate over the base assembly. The weight of the top will keep the bearings seated.

  4. Loading: Place your salt, pepper, and oil spray on top. The raised lip prevents items from flying off during high-speed rotations!

💡 Pro Tips for Makers

  • Anti-Slip: Stick four small rubber feet (or 3D print them in TPU) to the bottom of the base so it doesn't slide on smooth wooden or laminate surfaces.

  • Color Swaps: For a professional aesthetic, print the base in a dark matte color (like Galaxy Black) and the top in a vibrant blue.

  • Tolerance: If your printer tends to over-extrude, scale the top piece by 99.5% in your slicer to ensure a smooth, friction-free spin.
