Beneficial insects:

In addition to annoying insects, there are also beneficial insects, and some species are even irreplaceable in the garden. For example ladybugs feed on aphids, and solitary bees pollinate flowers. If such insects do not have enough suitable shelters and living conditions, they simply move elsewhere.

Molding instructions:

We will print the model from three parts. The rods that will create holes in the insect house are conical in shape. For better extraction, it is a good idea to coat the rods with epoxy, filler or otherwise smooth their surface. Attach the side walls of the form with screws on to the bottom and secure the sides with clamps.

After a few hours, remove the mold while the concrete is still slightly soft so that the cones can be easily removed. Then let the concrete harden for a few days.

Placement

It is advisable to place the bee house in a protected place. Best on the for example under the facade of the house or a shed. It is better to place several smaller houses in different places around the garden. It is advisable to place the house outside in early spring before the first flowers bloom, so that the bees have enough time to move in until the end of summer.
