I got an Army Armament KU901 AUG from the boneyard described as having "Feed issues". It turns out the feed nipple was some weird see through plastic with no tapering which meant it wouldn't fit the mag whatsoever. So I made my own.
These things also quite often wear out, which also causes feed issues, so I'm sharing the model for anyone to use.
Please note that whilst this does work, its not perfect and is liable to wearing out again, you'd be much better off with a metal one. In the UK/EU, I got this one in the end: https://www.airsoftworld.net/a-w-e-replacement-aug-feed-nipple.html
Obviously tested on the Army Armament KU901 AUG, please let me know if it works on other Airsoft AUGs.
