There's no better way to decorate for Easter than with weird potted plants. Or tulips, whatever floats your boat. Either way, this artificial potting soil is just what you need. Use it in combination with my Orchid Pot to display printed plants such as GrimGreeble's alien vegetation models. I use it for a 192%-scale print of his Corkscrew Tree.
Print in Spiral Vase Mode, with a negative XY Size Compensation at least sufficient to offset the width of the pot's perimeter extrusions. A coarse Hilbert Curve pattern with very wide first-layer extrusions produces a reasonably dirt-like texture.
Once printed, invert the soil and insert it in the pot. Then set that gnarly plant in place on top of the soil or in the stem hole at its center.
