Rear diffuser I designed for my 2019 VW eGolf.

These files are provided without warranty or liability and use of these files is at your own risk. They may not correctly fit, may damage your vehicle, void your insurance, not comply with local laws and/or may cause cancer in the state of California. You get the idea.

I strongly suggest printing the template file and checking the fit and profile before committing to the full print. OnShape link below if you are adventurous, please share the results.

Model will need to be rotated 180deg in the slicer so the top mounting hole is against the print bed. I printed in Black PET-G with 3 walls, TPMS-D infill and Supports touching build plate. Each fin takes ~4 hours and 160g of filament.  You will most likely need to use glue or other bed adhesion promoter even though I have added strain relief to the model as the long narrow fins are prone to warping. Would look excellent printed with fuzzy skin but print times will double. I painted with plastidip to make mine matte.

This design is for M5 mounting hardware. I mounted to the rear bumper with Rivnuts but you could also use well nuts if you don't have access to a rivnut setting tool (yes, you want the proper tool!). I've added triangle cutouts to make alignment to markings on the bumper easier. Take you time to mark everything out ( I used a dress makers pencil) and mount to the lower lip of the bumper first. Spacing to your own taste.

Recommended Hardware:

8x M5x20mm button head or flanged screws (recommend stainless or similar)

8x M5 washers (optional if you can get flanged screws)

8x M5 Plusnuts (plastic rivet inserts), rivet inserts or well nuts.

Note: you will likely need a tool for the plus nuts or rivet inserts. No tools required for well nuts.
I tried some of the no tool rivet insert tricks and they just messed up the inserts The tools was expensive for me.

Please no commercial use. Printing as a service (time + materials) is ok, but no printing to sell at markets, eBay, etc.
