It is a fractal Vise. It is essentially a version of a vise (a tool used to clamp stuff), but in this the little pieces shift around to follow the shape and curvature of the object you are trying to clamp. It makes clamping more irregular objects easier. Assembly is easy. Each of the semi-circle shapes slide into the bigger one. and the biggest of them clips into the rectangular base. In the second one (the middle vise) you will need to slide some wheels in their slots in the rectangle holes, and then slide the rails through it. Attach the main base (slide the rack gear thing through its slot). Then attach the two gears into the slot in the main base. Smaller one attaches to the rack gear and the big one attaches to the small one. Close the cover and you are done.
