I made these to lift the rear by 70mm (2 3/4 inches). Just one held my weight of 81kg (179 lbs), but print 2 or 3. It's a long, but low-risk print. Add some foam tape or similar to the bottom if you're worried about scuffing floors.
The bolts shouldn't be super-tight. Ideally, the riser could rotate slightly as the rear of the chair is lowered to the floor.
If you want to test the fit, print 2 of the upper brackets first. Each surrounds 50% of the tube.
Print Settings I used:
- 0.4mm nozzle
- 0.24mm layer height
- 2.4mm walls
- 25% cubic infill
- Add a brim
- No supports needed!
Hardware:
- 4x M5x12mm bolts (or longer)
- 4x M5 nuts
- Foam Tape (Optional but recommended)
