This is a modular, interchangeable letter sign designed for easy printing, smooth assembly, and real-world durability.

The system utilizes sliding letter slots, allowing you to swap messages at any time. It prints support-free and is optimized for fast printing using low infill while maintaining strength.

The design went through multiple revisions to solve real-world issues:

• Custom corner connectors prevent slot interference during assembly
• Optional glue-on rear support eliminates panel bowing
• Rear support doubles as a wall hanger
• Optimized for 0.4mm layer height and 5% infill
• No supports required

This model is designed to print cleanly on printers like the P1S and similar machines.

Perfect for:
• Motivational quotes
• Seasonal messages
• Office décor
• Classroom boards
• Gift projects

The modular design allows you to expand the board or reprint individual parts if needed.

Step 1 – Print All Required Parts

Print:
• Main board panels
• Corner and Side connectors
• Letter sets
• Optional rear support/wall hanger

Make sure panels are flat before assembly.

Step 2 – Assemble Board Panels

Slide board panels into the custom corner connectors.

The corner pieces are required to prevent the slot system from blocking panel movement.

Do not force panels. If resistance occurs, lightly sand connection points.

Step 3 – Fix Panel Bowing (Optional but Recommended for Wall Mounting)

If mounting to a wall or if panels show slight bowing:

  1. Apply super-glue to the optional rear support piece

  2. Center it along the back of the panel

  3. Press firmly and allow to cure

This piece:
• Reinforces the middle of the panel
• Prevents bowing from low infill
• Acts as a built-in wall hanger

Step 4 – Insert Letters

Slide letters into the front slots.

If letters feel tight:
• Lightly sand edges
• Or increase slot tolerance by 0.2–0.3mm in your slicer if remixing

Letters are designed for smooth movement without falling out during normal use. If the letters become hard to remove, take a small allen key or screwdriver, slide it behind the letter in the slot, and pry up, being careful not to snap the tiny letter slits.

Step 5 – Mount or Display

Desktop Use:
Place directly on a shelf or surface.

Wall Mount:
Use the integrated hanger on the rear support piece.
