Hi! After a while, I designed a lock for small farm animals like rabbits, chickens, geese, and Cameroonian dwarf goats. I’m quite happy with how it turned out, and even after more than a year the 3D-printed spring is still working (since I couldn’t find a suitable steel one).
The print can be done in either PLA or PET-G. I used a 0.2 mm layer height and 15% infill. For the automatic door lock you’ll need a counterpart, while the automatic wall-mounted door lock doesn’t require one. Please print it in the orientation shown in the picture.
